-How to use-

①Press and bend the metal button inside the warmer lightly until you hear a "click" sound.

The liquid inside ② generates heat while crystallizing white. (rises to about 50℃)

The heat gradually decreases while maintaining a moderate level of warmth, lasting for about 40 minutes.

[How to reuse]
Put it in boiling water and boil for about 5 minutes until the white crystals are no longer visible. Once it has completely returned to liquid form, cool it under running water and once it has cooled down, you can use it again. Even if it returns to liquid form, it may crystallize if it is suddenly cooled with cold water or placed in the refrigerator.

[Heating principle]
The principle of heat generation in this warmer is due to a phenomenon called "solidification heat." When the liquid in the body warmer becomes solid, it emits heat, and this is because the liquid releases excess energy when it undergoes a phase transition to a lower energy solid state.

[How to generate heat]
When heating the rewarming warmer, press and bend the metal button inside. This stimulates the liquid inside (aqueous sodium acetate solution) and begins crystallization. This crystallization generates the "solidification heat" mentioned above. (It doesn't have to be a metal as long as it can be given a similar stimulus.)

[Phenomenon of gradual solidification]
A phenomenon in which a liquid substance gradually becomes solid. This is a phenomenon in which when there is a piece of solid core, the surrounding liquid also becomes solid. It is called "crystallization" and is a phenomenon in which molecules are aligned one after another.

[Sodium acetate aqueous solution]
Sodium acetate is a salt made from acetic acid and sodium. It is also used as a preservative in pickles and other food additives. The sodium acetate aqueous solution used in Rewarming Warmer is a solution of sodium acetate dissolved in purified water, and is used in Rewarming Warmer because it is extremely stable even in supercooled conditions*.

*Supercooling:
Supercooling is a phenomenon in which a liquid does not solidify even if it is cooled past its freezing point (=transition point) and maintains its liquid state. In the case of water, this refers to the state in which it does not freeze even at temperatures below zero degrees Celsius. This corresponds to a metastable state known as a first-kind phase transition. When some kind of stimulus (such as vibration) is applied to supercooled water, it rapidly crystallizes (inoculation freezing). If it's in a bottle, it will freeze quickly just by tapping it, and if you try to transfer it to another container, it will freeze as it is poured, forming pillars of ice.

Handling precautions
